  1. Instructions

  3. Copy the .drv driver that pertains to the type of display you are using
  4. into your Windows main directory. If you are running in 386 Enhanced mode,
  5. also copy 'vddvga.386'.
  6.  
  7. For standard 640x480 VGA graphics, use the driver 'vga640.drv'.
  8.  
  9. Modify the Windows 'system.ini' file so that in the [boot] section
  10.  
  11.     display.drv=vga640.drv  (or one of the higher resolution drivers)
  12.  
  13. If you are running in 386 Enhanced mode, also add in the [386Enh] section
  14.  
  15.     display=vddvga.386
  16.  
  17. These drivers were obtained without any documentation from the Deico
  18. Electronics Wildcat BBS (415) 623-2822. The drivers work well on my 386
  19. and correct the screen problems I was previously having with DOS windows in
  20. 386 Enhanced mode.
